Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior Claims Handler for EL/PL to manage a diverse portfolio of liability claims on behalf of insurers. You will own claims from cradle to grave, providing a proactive, technically excellent service in line with policy requirements and service standards.

The role focuses on complex claims above the £25,000 threshold, requiring strong technical knowledge, sound judgement and top-level negotiation skills across UK jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience handling EL/PL and Casualty claims.
• Strong technical knowledge of policy wordings and coverage.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of cradle-to-grave EL/PL claims.
• Record and maintain claims information in digital systems.
• Investigate liability claims, advise on coverage, and reserve appropriately.
• Negotiate settlements and ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
