Senior EICA Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater

Job summary

Glanua UK is seeking an EICA Project Engineer to lead electrical, instrumentation, control and automation design across UK water and wastewater projects. You will drive technical leadership, governance and delivery assurance from concept through commissioning, ensuring safety, sustainability and quality.

You will report to the UK Group Head of Engineering and collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Control engineering with professional registration.
• Characterised by significant experience in UK water/wastewater EICA design.
• Experience leading engineering teams in multi-project environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK standards (WIMES, BS EN, IEC).
• Commercial awareness and NEC4 familiarity is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Hold accountability for all EICA design delivered by Glanua UK.
• Provide governance and technical assurance across EICA works.
• Oversee designs, calculations, datasheets, and drawings for EICA systems.
• Promote standardisation, modularisation, and off-site manufacture.
• Maintain 12 month resource lookahead and 4 week team lookahead.
• Interface with clients, regulators and supply chain partners.
• Lead HAZOP, DSEAR, SIL assessments and safety reviews.
