Job summary

Egis is expanding its UK Water team and seeks a Principal Electrical / EICA Engineer to lead design delivery on major water and wastewater projects in the UK. The role sits within a fast-growing, high-visibility environment with opportunities to shape EICA capability and contribute to business growth.

The successful candidate will bring 8–10+ years’ experience, Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, and a strong track record in multidisciplinary design, digital workflows, and client

Qualifications

• Requires BEng/MEng or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer status with a relevant institution.
• Typically 8–10+ years’ experience in water/wastewater/utilities design.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline design delivery on multidisciplinary water/wastewater projects across the full design lifecycle.
• Act as discipline technical lead on projects, owning design strategy and risk reviews.
• Review and approve discipline deliverables (calculations, reports, models, drawings).
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination to integrate Process, Mechanical, EICA and civil inputs.
