Job summary

Irwin and Colton is seeking a Principal EIA Manager to lead environmental assessment activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The role offers hybrid working and is based across the south of the UK with offices in Oxfordshire and other locations.

You will drive EIA processes, coordinate inputs, and embed carbon reduction and resilience considerations from design through delivery, leading a team of environmental professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in environmental or related discipline with UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of EIA processes and planning legislation.
• Proven experience delivering EIAs and sustainability inputs on major projects.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice and leadership across project stages.
• Deliver or oversee EIA processes and compliance to handover.
• Embed carbon reduction and climate resilience through engagement.
• Lead technical reviews and sustainability inputs on complex projects.
