Job summary

Irwin and Colton is seeking an experienced EIA Manager to lead Environmental Impact Assessment support during design on major UK infrastructure projects. The role offers hybrid working and a salary of £40,000 to £55,000 plus a company car and benefits.

You will shape environmental delivery from design through to delivery, coordinate inputs from internal teams and external advisers, and ensure compliant, high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in an environmental or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of EIA processes, assessment methods and planning legislation.
• Experience delivering environmental assessments and consents on complex projects.
• Strong report writing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice across project stages, coordinating inputs.
• Deliver/oversee EIA processes and ensure compliance through handover to delivery.
• Embed carbon reduction and climate resilience solutions through stakeholder engagement.
• Lead technical reviews and sustainability inputs on complex projects.
