Job summary

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
• Environmental management systems knowledge; ISO 14001 and sustainability principles.
• Ability to influence environmental performance through projects, audits and continuous improvement.
• Experience in EHS, Construction, Process Safety, Fire or Occupational Hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Sustainability & Compliance – Lead environmental compliance, audits, monitoring and sustainability initiatives; drive reductions in energy, emissions, water and waste while supporting environmental standards and reporting.
• EHS Advice & Subject Matter Expertise – Provide practical EHS guidance and support to managers and employees, acting as the site SME for assigned EHS topics.
• Project, Process & Strategy Support – Support projects, NPI and facility changes, ensuring EHS considerations are embedded throughout the lifecycle and contributing to EHS strategies, policies and legal compliance.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Manage EHS metrics, adverse event reporting and KPI analysis, identifying trends and ensuring compliance with legal and company reporting requirements.
• Audit, Assurance & Continuous Improvement – Lead and support audits, management monitoring activities and CAPA programmes, driving compliance, risk reduction and continual improvement.
• Training, Communication & Emergency Response – Deliver EHS training, promote a strong safety culture through effective communications, and provide incident coordination support during site emergencies.
