Job summary

Vantage is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our Newport campus. You will work with regional EMEA teams and local data centre operations to implement world-class EHS systems and maintain high safety standards across sites.

The role requires autonomy, extensive knowledge of EU-OSHA regulations, and a track record of leading safety programs. On-site presence is expected 4–5 days per week with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Board/qualification: BCSP, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• IOSH membership, graduate/chartered preferred.
• 5+ years in EHS with multi-site experience.
• Knowledge of EU-OSHA regs and safety standards.
• Familiar with ANSI / NFPA / DGUV / BG Bau / BSI standards.
• Self-starter with strong communication and influencing skills.
• On-site presence required 4–5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Implement health and safety standards, policies, risk assessments and training.
• Audit data centres and active construction sites for compliance and life safety.
• Develop and review EHS plans for emergencies and business continuity.
• Maintain safety record keeping and data integrity; monitor trends.
• Analyze safety metrics and report to leadership; drive actions.
• Drive harmonized EHS approaches across the European portfolio.
