Job summary

Vantage Data Centres in the United Kingdom is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for the Newport campus to lead world-class EHS programs across operations and ongoing construction. The role drives compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement with regional EMEA teams and site operations.

Qualifications

• Board of Certified Health and Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Diploma or Occupational Health certification.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive EHS experience across multiple sites.
• Familiarity with EU-OSHA and other safety standards.
• Ability to influence and work with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of Vantage EHS programs across campuses.
• Develop cross-functional relationships with operations and construction teams.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for operations and construction projects.
• Conduct EHS audits of data centres and sites.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Prepare weekly/monthly EHS reports for site leadership.
• Deliver regulatory training and share safety metrics with leadership.
