Job summary

Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a new education school project in Southampton. This site-based role reports to the Southampton office and focuses on delivering a high-quality education facility for the local community.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee procurement, cost control, and schedule, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. A strong background in healthcare or education sector projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher technical education in building services or related field.
• CSCS card is essential for site access.
• SMSTS certification required for site safety management.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Engineering Services on a high-value school project (£10m+).
• Ensure safety and compliance with company protocols.
• Oversee procurement, labour resources, and subcontractor performance.
• Prepare monthly progress and payment applications and manage WIP.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
