Job summary

Broadoak Academy is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead non-educational functions and support staff and students. This key role will work closely with the Principal to ensure robust systems and compliant operations across the academy.

You will manage Professional Services, health and safety, HR support, and recruitment, with a focus on safeguarding and continuous improvement. Start date provisional for February 2027.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Professional Services team, ensuring high-quality service delivery across the Academy.
• Act as operational lead for Health & Safety, compliance, policy implementation, GDPR and risk management.
• Support the Principal and Senior Leadership Team on non-education operations, providing advice and practical solutions.
• Oversee HR administration and recruitment processes, supporting safer recruitment practices and staff compliance.
• Ensure safeguarding and maintenance of the Single Central Record are effectively managed.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and align with strategic priorities.
