Job summary

Broadoak Academy in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a permanent, full-time Senior Operations Manager to sit on the school's leadership team and run its non-educational functions.

You will lead the Professional Services team covering administration, health and safety, compliance, GDPR, HR support and recruitment, including safeguarding and the Single Central Record, with a focus on continuous improvement to keep the academy running.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Professional Services team, including administrative staff
• Act as operational lead for health & safety, compliance, policy, GDPR and risk management
• Support the Principal and Senior Leadership Team on non-educational operations
• Oversee HR administration and recruitment, including safer recruitment and staff compliance
• Manage statutory responsibilities, including safeguarding compliance and the Single Central Record
• Develop systems and procedures that improve efficiency and support strategic priorities
