CleanTech Talent in Leeds is seeking a Senior Ecologist specializing in ornithology to lead major projects and mentor the ecology team. You will drive surveys, mitigation design, stakeholder engagement with Natural England, and business development to grow the portfolio.

This hybrid role offers flexible working, mentoring, professional development, and a path towards Chartership with CIEEM. A full UK driving licence and a degree in a relevant discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline required.
• Ideally member of CIEEM, working towards Chartership.
• Ornithology specialism with breeding/non-breeding bird surveys.

Responsibilities

• Lead ecological surveys and assessments across sectors.
• Design and manage mitigation strategies and monitoring.
• Build client relationships and grow the portfolio.
• Mentor junior ecologists and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
