Our client, an environmental consultancy, seeks a Senior Ecologist to lead a variety of ecological projects from Sheffield with hybrid working. You will supervise surveys, mentor juniors, and engage clients to deliver high-quality nature-based solutions across the UK.

You will bring UK survey methodologies, legislation knowledge, and strong project management. Level 2 bat licence or ornithology expertise is highly valued, with clear career progression in a collaborative culture.

Competenze

• Degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of ecological survey methodologies and legislation.
• Experience in managing projects and mentoring team members.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Experience using GIS/CAD for survey planning and data management.
• Level 2 bat licence or ornithological expertise is highly valued.

Mansioni

• Lead and deliver ecological surveys, including protected species assessments and habitat assessments.
