Jacobs is seeking a Senior Ecologist for a UK-wide role with opportunities across offices nationwide, including site and desk-based work. You will lead ecological inputs, design monitoring programmes and provide expert advice while mentoring colleagues.

The position emphasizes collaboration, high-quality delivery, and engagement with diverse projects in water, highways, and rail infrastructure. Flexible and hybrid arrangements are available within a supportive environment.

Formación

• Background in terrestrial ecology with significant years relevant industry experience.
• Full membership of a professional body (or working towards).
• Experience running ecological inputs on medium-large scale projects.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering challenging, diverse infrastructure projects from field to desk.
• Leading and mentoring survey teams to ensure high-quality data collection.
• Designing ecological monitoring programmes and survey strategies.
• Providing expert ecological advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Working in multidisciplinary teams to integrate terrestrial ecology requirements.
