The Vacancy

At RSK Biocensus, part of RSK Group, we are an award-winning CIEEM company recruiting a passionate Senior Ecologist to join our UK ecology team. You will be involved in field surveys, assessments, report writing, project management, and practical habitat management or creation under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing medium/large projects and tenders from start to finish.
2. Promoting RSK positively to clients and competitors.
3. Overseeing project finance, resources, subcontractors, risk, quality assurance, and client feedback.
4. Conducting fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys and travel.
5. Assisting with survey and research report delivery, including data analysis and licensing.

A full UK driving license and own vehicle are required.

Person Specification

You should be able to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail, communication skills, and leadership qualities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Ecology or related field.
• At least 5 years relevant experience.
• Species licenses desirable.
• Associate membership with CIEEM.
