Job summary

isepglobal in Cardiff seeks an experienced Ecologist to join a multidisciplinary consultancy and contribute to diverse UK projects. You will conduct Phase 1 habitat surveys, protected species assessments, and fieldwork management across multiple sites while delivering high-quality reports.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in ecology or a related discipline.

• Membership of CIEEM (or working towards).

Responsibilities

• Undertake and manage ecological surveys, including Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species assessments.
• Lead fieldwork and reporting for a range of projects, delivering high quality work on time.
• Liaise with clients, regulators and stakeholders to provide clear ecological advice.
• Prepare technical reports (EcIA, HRA, management plans).
• Mentor junior staff and support team knowledge-sharing.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
