Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Consultant Ecologist to work on a range of ecological projects, including field surveys, ecological assessments, and technical reports, with ownership of projects.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, with hybrid working, and opportunities for progression. Based in Bristol or within reasonable commuting distance, with flexible arrangements and pension/health benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject.
• Previous experience within ecological consultancy.
• Practical experience of UK habitat and protected species surveys.
• Knowledge of relevant ecology legislation and planning requirements.
• Experience preparing ecological reports and technical documentation.
• Confident communication and report writing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Based in Bristol or within a reasonable commuting distance.

In this role, you will be involved in a diverse range of ecological projects, carrying out field surveys, supporting ecological assessments, preparing technical reports and contributing to mitigation and planning work. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across multiple disciplines, providing the opportunity to broaden your consultancy experience and take ownership of projects.
