Job summary

Assystem is a leading nuclear engineering firm with over 60 years of experience, delivering complex and strategic infrastructure projects. We are seeking an Engineering Manager for the EC&I department to lead design and delivery of SMR nuclear power plant projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget execution.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Engineering and related disciplines.
• Proven experience in EC&I design and management of complex, safety-critical programmes.
• Familiarity with highly regulated industries, life cycle phases and change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop EC&I technical programmes covering full product lifecycle.
• Plan tasks with attention to dependencies across domains.
• Ensure seamless integration across work areas for engineered solutions.
• Monitor programme scope and adjust as needed with governance.
• Identify resource gaps and support CDE in resourcing strategies.
• Help establish and maintain budgets for EC&I programmes.
• Track budgets, forecast costs and compare to projections.
• Monitor programme risks and opportunities and implement mitigations.
• Oversee contract staff allocation and performance.
