Job summary

AECOM's Adelaide Building Engineering team is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer with nuclear experience to lead the design and delivery of Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation systems for critical infrastructure projects.

You will prepare technical documentation, perform hazard and risk studies, guide engineers, support testing and commissioning, and collaborate with project managers, architects and other disciplines to ensure compliant, safe and efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering EC&I on major infrastructure projects.
• Nuclear experience, defence exposure is highly regarded.
• Sound understanding of Australian and international standards.
• CPEng/Chartered Engineer status desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of EC&I systems across infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings and calculations.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and designers.
• Undertake hazard and risk assessments and other technical investigations.
• Contribute to safety-related deliverables for safety-significant systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers and other engineering disciplines.
• Support testing, commissioning and validation activities.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues.
