Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer with Nuclear experience to join our Adelaide Building Engineering team. The role focuses on leading EC&I design for critical infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with standards and safety requirements, and delivering integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience delivering EC&I systems on major infrastructure or regulated projects, nuclear experience valued
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV distribution, PLC/SCADA, DCS, BMS, and building automation

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of EC&I systems to meet project requirements and standards
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings and calculations with cross-disciplinary input
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and designers for high-quality delivery
• Perform option studies, hazard analyses, and risk assessments to inform design decisions
• Contribute to safety justifications and assurance documentation for safety-critical systems
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and other disciplines to integrate EC&I solutions
• Support testing, commissioning and validation activities ensuring system performance
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to resolve engineering and project issues
