Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is recruiting for a Senior E+C&I Engineer to join a major project based in Renfrew. You will lead electrical, control and instrumentation design, construction and commissioning across complex machinery and control systems.

The role requires at least 5 years' E+C&I experience, delivery of control system specs, FAT involvement, and strong communication with clients. Hybrid working with 3 days on-site and a £56/hr rate (Inside IR35) applies.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in engineering with 5+ years' E+C&I experience.
• Experience in design, construction and commissioning.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA and motor control.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a hybrid on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver E+C&I design packages for construction and commissioning of complex machinery.
• Prepare control system specifications, shutdown CK charts and datasheets.
• Check and verify design deliverables and resolve deviations.
• Support FATs and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Undertake LV electrical power design.
