OLG Recruitment are recruiting a Senior EC&I Engineer for a client in Renfrew. This hybrid role requires attendance in the office on Tue, Wed and Thu, with working from home on Mon and Fri. The contract length is a minimum of 1 year.

The successful candidate will deliver technical EC&I expertise on complex control systems, and be responsible for a key project segment from design through commissioning. Strong PLC/SCADA and safety qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSc / BEng, with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
• CEng is desirable.
• TUV SIS Functional Safety qualification is desirable.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA and motion control projects is required.

Responsabilités

• Work as part of E,C&I team on design packages for construction and commissioning of complex machinery.
• Prepare E,C&I deliverables including Control System Specifications, Datasheets and Technical Requisitions for long lead items.
• Check E,C&I design deliverables such as Cable Block diagrams, routing diagrams, schedules and terminations.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies from original proposal by raising technical queries with projects/clients.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests and multidisciplinary Design Reviews.
