Job summary

Ignite Talent Group is seeking an experienced Senior EC&I Engineer to join a major regulated engineering programme in the Glasgow area. You will work within an established EC&I team, delivering design across construction and commissioning lifecycle for complex machinery and control systems.

The role requires taking ownership of technically challenging activities, strong background in industrial control systems, electrical design and commissioning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

Experience in EC&I engineering within regulated environments.
Strong background in electrical design and commissioning.
Ability to own technically challenging engineering activities.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver EC&I design packages for machinery and control systems.
Provide technical solutions to complex issues, in collaboration with lead engineer.
Create and review control system specifications.
Produce FAT support and participate in factory acceptance testing.
Prepare and review cable diagrams, routing, and schedules.
Contribute to design reviews and close out actions.
