Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Earthworks Sub Agent or Foreman to join a major civils project in Scotland. You will lead earthworks teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure work aligns with programme and safety standards.

The role includes soil nailing and ground engineering activities, RAMS/ITPs, and drawing reviews, with freelance and permanent openings and immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sub Agent within major civils or highways.
• Strong earthworks background.
• Experience with soil nailing or similar ground engineering activities.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• RAMS, ITPs and construction drawings knowledge.
• Relevant site qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors, monitor progress and quality.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with programme and project requirements.
• Support delivery of significant earthworks activities, including soil nailing.
