Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Earthworks Foreman (Sub Agent) for a major civils project in Scotland. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors, supervise earthworks including soil nailing, and ensure work progresses safely and to programme.

The role requires strong RAMS/ITPs and construction drawing literacy, with proven earthworks leadership on large infrastructure schemes. Both freelance and permanent positions are available with long-term prospects and immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sub Agent within major civils or highways
• Strong earthworks experience and soil nailing expertise
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
• Good understanding of RAMS, ITPs and construction drawings
• Relevant site qualifications and experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and quality of earthworks.
