Job summary

Falkirk Council is seeking a Senior Early Years Officer for Langlees Early Learning and Childcare Centre. The post is full time (37 hours) on a term time plus 4 weeks contract; salary will be adjusted for term time+4.

The ELC Centre opens 8am to 6pm, and you must be prepared to work a shift pattern within these hours. You will assist in the management and provision of early learning and childcare services within the school, supporting children from birth to 5 years and ensuring high standards of

Qualifications

• Hold an HNC in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• SNNB Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the SSSC is required.
• Experience with children birth to 5 years.
• Knowledge of outdoor learning/forest nursery approaches would be advantageous.

Senior Early Years Officer (Langlees Early Learning and Childcare Centre) Post ID CS3969 A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Early Years Officer at Langlees Early Learning and Childcare Centre. The successful candidate will assist in the management and provision of early learning and childcare service within the school. You should have sound knowledge of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures with extensive experience of working with children from birth to 5 years. You will hold an HNC in Childcare and Education, an SNNB Certificate or equivalent qualification. You should hold a qualification to allow registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Experience or knowledge of outdoor learning/forest nursery approach would be advantageous. The post is full time (37 hours) and is on a term time plus 4 weeks contract. Langlees ELC Centre remains open during the school summer holiday period. Please note salary will be adjusted for term time+4 working. The ELC Centre is open 8am to 6pm and you must be prepared to work a shift pattern between these hours. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
