Job summary

Falkirk Council is seeking a Senior Early Years Officer for Langlees Early Learning and Childcare Centre. The post is full time (37 hours) on a term time plus 4 weeks contract; salary will be adjusted for term time+4.

The ELC Centre opens 8am to 6pm, and you must be prepared to work a shift pattern within these hours. You will assist in the management and provision of early learning and childcare services within the school, supporting children from birth to 5 years and ensuring high standards of

Qualifications

• Hold an HNC in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• SNNB Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Registration with the SSSC is required.
• Experience with children birth to 5 years.
• Knowledge of outdoor learning/forest nursery approaches would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and provision of early learning and childcare service within the school.
• Work with children from birth to 5 years and support a developmentally appropriate environment.
