Tiny Oaks Day Nursery in Edenbridge is offering a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship (Early Years Manager) through Shoots Training. The nursery provides a GOOD Ofsted environment and open access to a garden for daily activity.

The role requires dedication to child development, safeguarding, and collaboration with families. Hours are 7:30am–6:30pm, with a 40-hour week over four days, and a strong emphasis on professional growth.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential.
• Managerial experience in a nursery setting is required.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C/4-9) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning.
• Safeguard and promote welfare; follow safeguarding procedures.
• Support inclusion and SEN, collaborating with external agencies.
