Job summary

Moonlight Nursery and Pre-School in SE London is offering a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship. The role is full-time (minimum 36 hours over 4 days) with a salary of £32,760–£35,100 per year.

You will lead a room, supervise staff, plan activities and contribute to delivering a high-quality learning environment. The apprenticeship develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours of senior practitioners, with emphasis on reflective practice and ongoing professional enquiry.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma.
• Worked a minimum of 2–3 years in an Early years setting.
• Achieved Level 2 in both Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Room Leader responsible for day-to-day running of their room.
• Supervise staff and support management to maintain good/outstanding Ofsted standards.
• Lead planning and provide an engaging, age-appropriate learning environment.
• Reflect on practice daily and promote continual improvement.
