Job summary

Impact Futures is seeking a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner to join our nursery team in Weston-super-Mare. You will lead pedagogical practice, model outstanding interactions, and support colleagues toward high-quality EYFS delivery.

You’ll work closely with the Room Manager and leadership team to create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where every child thrives. You will coach and mentor Level 2/3 staff, drive quality improvement, and contribute to safeguarding and family

Qualifications

• Level 5 Early Years qualification (or working towards).
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching or leading practice.
• Understanding of safeguarding, SEND and inclusive practice.
• Experience of planning, assessment and tracking children’s progress.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner to join our team. This is a key role within the nursery, ideal for a highly skilled educator who is committed to delivering exceptional early years practice and supporting others to do the same.

As a Lead Practitioner, you will play a vital role in driving quality, modelling outstanding interactions, and supporting the development of colleagues. You will work closely with the Room Manager and wider leadership team to create a stimulating, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
