Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd. Farley Salisbury Outdoor Nursery is seeking a Senior Early Years Educator to lead the Nursery Room and deliver high-quality, play-based care for children outdoors.

You will supervise your team, drive improvements in learning experiences, maintain records, and partner with management to ensure safe, nurturing environments where children thrive.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
• Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner).
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
• Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to the children on a day-to-day basis and supervise the team.
• Identify areas for improvement in learning techniques and environments.
• Ensure record keeping is completed and conduct team appraisals.
• Collaborate with room leads and management for smooth nursery operations.

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Salary: Up to £14.68 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

Day to day, you will deliver care to the children whilst also supervising your team.

You’ll identify areas for improvements whether that relates to learning and teaching techniques or creating more stimulating experiences and environments. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals. As the Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
