Job summary

Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust's Early Intervention Service is recruiting two part-time practitioners to work with 14-65-year-olds experiencing First Episode of Psychosis. Roles offer training, great support and professional supervision, with hours 22.5 or 30 per week and travel across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

You will deliver specialist assessments and evidence-based mental health interventions, coordinate care plans, and contribute to family and carer support under

Qualifications

• Sufficient experience at Band 6 or equivalent.
• Experience with young people experiencing or suspected First Episode of Psychosis.
• Knowledge of Early Intervention in Psychosis philosophy.
• Enthusiasm and commitment to our service user group.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to engage our service users assertively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist assessments and evidence-based mental health interventions in Early Intervention in Psychosis Service.
• Contribute and undertake specialist Early Intervention assessments for referrals.
• Plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based interventions for service users under supervision.
• Manage clinical risk assessments and coordinate care with Out of Hours services when required.
• Organise admissions, case conferences/reviews and discharge planning with the MDT.
