Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist in Early Intervention Psychiatry to join the all-age Early Intervention Service in Central Lancashire. The 8 PA role is part time, based at Euxton Lodge, Chorley, with on-call duties attracting additional remuneration.

The post includes clinical lead responsibilities within the MDT and care for ages 16+ in Central Lancashire EIS, with flexible working and a supportive peer network.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent
• Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
• Entry on GMC Specialist Register (or within 6 months at time of interview)
• Section 12 approved
• AC status (or within 6 months at time of interview)

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the MDT for the decision making in Central Lancashire EIS.
• Lead care for young people aged 16 and over accepted for care within Central Lancashire EIS.
• Participate on the Consultant On Call rota with additional remuneration.

Education
