Job summary

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust in Bath is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Early Intervention Practitioner to join the trusted Early Intervention Team. You will lead psychosis-focused nursing care for 14–64-year-olds and work closely with carers and families in a multidisciplinary environment.

The role emphasizes NICE-guided interventions, CPA planning, and co-production with service users, ensuring recovery-focused care and close collaboration with the broader EI network.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification with registration in mental health nursing.
• Band 5 experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and with young people.
• Clean driving license.
• CBT experience and family work.

Responsibilities

• Use CAARMS assessment to identify potential psychosis.
• Plan and implement specialist care programmes with a caseload.
• Collaborate with agencies in planning and assessing care.
• Co-facilitate social and therapeutic groups.
• Co-deliver educational groups to service users, teams and the public.
• Provide clinical supervision to junior staff.
• Undergo audit and development activities.
• Deliver medication/depo management and support physical health within the team.
