Job summary

A leading engineering services company in the UK is seeking an E&I Designer to provide design support for electrical and instrumentation systems. The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of designs, prepare detailed drawings, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates should have 5 to 10 years' experience in E&I design, a degree in a relevant field, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years' experience in E&I design within industrial, energy, or construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience producing P&IDs, cable schedules, and control system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of E&I designs according to specifications.
• Prepare and maintain detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance.
