Job summary

Astute People is seeking a Senior Plant Engineer to support District Heating projects across London and the South, with a salary up to £50,000 per annum. Responsibilities include planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and project management for commercial plant systems.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in a similar role, holds an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Gas or Plumbing, and possesses a full UK driver's license. Benefits include a company van, private healthcare, and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Commercial Plant Engineer.
• Knowledge of commercial gas boilers and plant rooms.
• Full, clean UK driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on commercial plant systems.
• Respond to reactive call‑outs and participate in the on‑call rota.
• Manage site‑based remediation projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records according to safety standards.
