Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a hands-on Plant Room Engineer to maintain and install mid/large commercial plant rooms across facilities in London. The role is field-based, covering London, with a Monday–Friday day shift and a fully expensed company vehicle.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3 in Gas, Plumbing, or Mechanical discipline and experience in plant rooms or commercial mechanical systems. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and support upgrades while keeping safety and records up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience working in plant rooms or similar environments.
• Experience maintaining commercial mechanical systems.
• Understanding fault finding and repair on plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance on mechanical plant equipment (pumps, boilers, heat exchangers, HVAC, tanks, pressurisation units).
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs across heating and plant systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore services as quickly as possible.
• Support small projects and plant upgrades.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with procedures.
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and reports.

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical biased maintenance engineering to join a growing team responsible for installation and maintenance of mid / large commercial plant rooms across facilities in London.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out planned maintenance on mechanical plant equipment - pumps, valves, heat exchangers, chp's, boilers, chillers, HVAC, tanks, pressurisation units.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs across heating and plant systems
• Responding to breakdowns and restoring services as quickly as possible
• Supporting small projects and plant upgrades
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with procedures
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and reports

What we’re looking for
