Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director - Project Controls & Performance to support major infrastructure programmes. You will lead client engagements, shape control environments, and drive performance reporting across projects, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced project controls knowledge, and experience with PMOs within the infrastructure sector, including defence, rail, and energy contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Defence Sector.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Project Controls in infrastructure or related fields.
• Experience in PMO/controls & performance environments on major capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment of client environments and develop fit-for-purpose control solutions.
• Document findings and recommendations across engagement stages.
• Lead workshops in virtual and face-to-face settings with client representatives.
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams across client sites and virtually.
• Deploy and tailor controls methodologies and tools to client needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and internal initiatives.
• Drive activities in transformation products and bids with senior management.
• Engage in marketing and social media campaigns where appropriate.
• Provide line management and development for direct reports.
