Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Project Director to lead our Data Centre team on high-profile hyperscale projects. The role involves managing complex programmes from feasibility to completion and requires deep knowledge of data centre real estate, design and construction.

The successful candidate will oversee strategies, budgets, risk management and stakeholder coordination with a client-facing remit in a global professional services environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data centre construction and related real estate sectors.
• Experience delivering large-scale data centre projects from inception to completion.
• Proven ability to work in client-facing roles and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Membership in a chartered institute (RICS/CIOB) is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale data centre projects from feasibility through construction and completion.
• Develop and implement project strategies, plans and large budgets for complex construction.
• Establish processes and systems to be used across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate and communicate with client, contractors and designers; chair meetings and draft minutes.
• Provide thought leadership on data centre trends and innovations.
