Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Project Director to join our Data Centre team in the United Kingdom. You will lead large-scale data centre projects through feasibility, design, construction and completion, working with a professional team and key clients.

This client-facing role requires extensive hyperscale project experience, governance, and senior stakeholder management, delivering strategies, budgets and progress reporting for a £1 billion plus programme.

Formación

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in large-scale construction and data centre projects.
• Member of a chartered institute (e.g., RICS / CIOB) is desirable but not essential.
• Extensive knowledge of data centre sector themes, project lifecycle and business case approvals.
• Track record delivering hyperscale data centre projects from inception to completion.
• Client-facing experience at all levels and ability to lead strategic commissions.

Responsabilidades

• Leading and managing large-scale and complex data centre projects in the real estate sector, from feasibility, design, construction and completion.
• Developing and implementing project strategies, plans and large-scale budgets on complex construction projects.
• Establishing and maintaining effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress and other performance indicators.
• Managing and mitigating risks and issues.
• Preparing and delivering written project communication materials.
• Preparing and presenting formal project progress and other reports.
• Managing and coordinating the client, contractors and designers.
• Attending and chairing meetings and drafting minutes, etc.
• Developing and delivering presentation materials for client pitches and updating key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
