Job summary

Turner & Townsend in London seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead and support large-scale, ground-up data centre construction projects for Europe’s technology clients, from inception to commissioning.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, drive governance, manage time, cost, quality and safety, and ensure client objectives are met with effective reporting and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• Chartered status or on path to achieving this.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advising at a strategic level at project conception stage.
• Leading establishment of overall success criteria (time, cost, quality).
• Planning and overseeing quality, safety, health and environment issues.
• Establishing governance, processes and systems for the project.
• Producing and controlling detailed project plans.
• Advising on resource procurement and cross-functional team leadership.
• Monitoring performance with KPIs and managing changes.
• Overseeing project finances and client communications.
