Job summary

HSBC Innovation Banking in London is seeking a senior professional to lead the structuring, underwriting and closing of warehouse facilities for Fintech clients in the UK and Europe. You will drive credit analysis, transaction structuring, and legal documentation negotiation, balancing client needs with bank risk.

The role requires hands-on credit papers, cashflow modelling, and data analysis across large data sets, with hybrid work in London (office 2 days/week).

Qualifications

• Financial modelling and structuring asset backed facilities.
• Highly skilled at building cashflow models and performing collateral analysis.
• Highly competent with legal documentation.
• Structured finance experience from investment or commercial banks or similar.
• A keen interest in technology sector and venture capital/private equity transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring, underwriting and closing of warehouse facilities by supporting the creation of credit papers and financial models.
• Manage the end-to-end process with clients, internal stakeholders, and external counsel to ensure successful outcomes.
• Oversee portfolio management and coordinate responses to changing client situations.
• Lead deal teams, provide guidance on structuring, underwriting, closing and portfolio management.
• Build client and investor relationships in Fintech and alternative lending sectors.
