Job summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a Senior Digital Developer to join the in-house team. You will design and deploy world-class digital services, manage on-premise and Azure environments, and contribute to DevOps practices within a collaborative, inclusive culture.

The role focuses on IBM ODM/BAW workloads and requires strong software development experience, with a commitment to continuous learning and delivering high-impact projects for organ and tissue donation systems across the UK.

Qualifications

• MSc or Advanced knowledge and substantial proven experience to Masters level in software development.
• Experience in IBM ODM and/or BAW development and advanced SQL queries.
• Demonstrates commitment to own continued professional development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy world-class Digital services, applications and databases per NHSBT strategy.
• Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations to leaders.
• Lead workshops and gathering requirements to identify enhancements.
