Job summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a Senior Digital Developer to join the OTDT Product Centre and help modernise legacy systems using IBM ODM/BAW. The role supports Azure/AWS deployments, DevOps practices, and a collaborative team culture across the UK.

The successful candidate will work on critical digital services, travel as needed, and contribute to a high‑performing development team with flexible hybrid working and a commitment to diversity and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Masters level in software development with IBM ODM/BAW experience.
• Strong SQL skills and testing tool experience (e.g., JMeter, Postman).
• Experience with OOAD, UML and web services (REST/SOAP).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy world‑class digital services and solutions.
• Research technologies and align with OTDT PC strategy and NHSBT goals.
• Collaborate with BI and Data Management to deliver software and support.
