The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is seeking 2 Senior Digital Content Managers to contribute to shaping and delivering our digital content strategy. These roles are hosted within our Southampton coordinating centre.

What You’ll Be Doing
Working as part of the NIHR’s central communications team, and under the direction of the NIHR Head of Digital Communications, we’re looking for strategic, forward-thinking content experts to help take the reins of our central web platform. You’ll lead on digital content planning, delivery, and optimisation, act as a Business Product Owner for key digital services, and work collaboratively across NIHR to drive consistency, impact, and user-focused innovation.

You’ll confidently balance strategic thinking with hands-on content delivery, bringing strong editorial judgment, stakeholder management skills, and a passion for user-focused, continuously improving content. Additional skills required include:
Experience working in complex or public sector organisations, health and research sectors, and with digital tools like HotJar, Figma, and Google Analytics would be highly beneficial.
