With exceptional learner achievement rates, strong client relationships, and outstanding staff retention, they are now investing in the future of their programmes through the newly created role of Curriculum and Content Manager.

This is a fully remote position with the opportunity to lead real innovation in the design, development, and quality of apprenticeship delivery.

The Opportunity

As Curriculum and Content Manager, you’ll play a critical role in inspiring, leading and coordinating a team of trainers and specialists to redesign learner journeys that incorporate the latest learning and AI tools. Direct reports will include up to 6 learning professionals, who will oversee other learning specialists and Apprenticeship Champions. This role involves working with many stakeholders including the directors, programme managers, the quality manager, the sales team, employers and learners to develop high-impact learning experiences.

This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone from an apprenticeship background who is passionate about pedagogy, quality, and learner experience.

Operational Delivery

  • Oversee and support with the design of innovative, engaging, high-quality apprenticeship and commercial learning programmes.
  • Oversee and support with the creation of self-study modules and online delivered training content in collaboration with subject matter experts, ensuring pedagogical excellence.
  • Standardise best practice curriculum and training processes across the business to ensure consistent high-quality delivery.
  • Leverage AI and LMS tools to enhance team productivity and learner experience
  • Continuously review programme content and delivery mechanisms using learner, employer, and stakeholder feedback to make improvements to drive key metrics such as QAR and EPA results.
  • Organise and participate in discovery calls with stakeholders to contextualise and improve curriculum content.
  • Attend client engagements and provide support as needed to the sales team.
  • Stay up to date with all Ofsted, Industry and DOE updates that impact apprenticeships delivered and proactively incorporate revisions.

Strategic Leadership

  • Create a blueprint of the ‘how we deliver learning’ here and embed throughout the business to ensure consistency of best practice.
  • Oversee the research and development of new apprenticeships and commercial courses that meet the needs of employers and learners.
  • Oversee the embedding of pedagogical best practices to ensure the curriculum reflects the latest trends and technologies in education.
  • Lead and inspire a team of training specialists.
  • Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in curriculum delivery.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports to ensure all team members have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to perform at the highest level.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to inspire and collaborate across multiple departments
  • Commercially aware and passionate about embedding new technology and AI tools into learning experiences.
  • Has full understanding of apprenticeships and the compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and curriculum planning expertise.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, Level 5 Education & Training) or equivalent.
  • Experience of managing 5 + people over a minimum of 5 years +
  • Experience designing and developing apprenticeship programmes, including digital and blended content.
  • Proven track record of delivering improvements in learning quality, compliance, and learner outcomes.
  • Experience working with apprenticeship platforms and AI to enhance delivery and the learner journey.
