Job summary
DVSA, in partnership with Inspire People, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis within agile delivery teams. You will translate user and business needs into clear requirements, refine product backlogs and support user-centred digital services for Great Britain's roads.
You will report to a Lead Business Analyst, mentor other analysts, and collaborate with Product Owners, developers and testers to deliver valuable service improvements.
Qualifications
- Hold BCS International Diploma in BA or equivalent.
- Experience delivering BA in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience leading analysis activities and translating requirements into user stories.
- Ability to model business processes and investigate complex problems.
- Experience coaching or mentoring other Business Analysts.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across digital projects and products, investigating business problems, user needs and opportunities for service improvement.
- Work with Product Owners and technical colleagues to define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional and non-functional requirements.
- Maintain and prioritise product backlogs, assess options and impacts, and help resolve risks, issues and changes affecting delivery.
- Engage stakeholders across the organisation, use appropriate analysis and process-modelling techniques, and coach and mentor other Business Analysts.
