Job summary

F5 in Cardiff is seeking two Senior Digital Business Analysts to join a mature BA team delivering complex digital transformation programmes. This hybrid role requires experience in digital/software delivery, collaboration with technical teams, and guiding requirements through the delivery lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have end-to-end BA experience, hands-on Agile delivery, strong stakeholder engagement, and data skills (SQL/data modelling/mapping). Travel to Cardiff is expected as needed.

Qualifications

Senior Digital Business Analyst

Cardiff - Hybrid £60,000-£75,000 + benefits Permanent

SC eligible candidates only

2 x Senior Digital Business Analysts required to join an established Business Analysis team delivering complex digital transformation programmes.

What we're specifically looking for

This isn't a junior BA or purely process-focused role. You'll need demonstrable experience working on digital/software delivery, collaborating with technical teams and taking requirements through the delivery lifecycle.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong end-to-end Business Analysis experience within digital/software transformation
• Hands-on Agile delivery experience - user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, prioritisation and MVP
• Experience working directly with developers, architects, Product Owners and other technical teams
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Experience translating user and business needs into clear technical/delivery requirements
• Genuine experience working with data - ideally SQL, data modelling, data mapping and/or data migration
• Experience supporting solutions through development, testing/UAT and implementation
• Confidence working in complex environments where requirements may initially be ambiguous

Previous consultancy, public sector or large-scale enterprise transformation experience would be useful, but isn't essential.

Location & security requirements

You must be able to travel to Cardiff when required. The role is hybrid rather than fully remote, with office/client attendance expected 2 days per week. You must also be eligible to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.

The opportunity

You'll work closely with clients, users and multidisciplinary technical teams to understand problems, shape requirements and support the delivery of digital solutions.

There's an established BA community around you, exposure to different transformation programmes and clients, and good scope to develop further within the organisation.

Salary: £60,000-£75,000 + benefits, depending on experience and level.
