Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lead Business Analyst in Cardiff, operating in a hybrid model. You will lead a small BA team, shape major programmes, and ensure technology investments align with strategic objectives.

You will gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and produce robust business cases while collaborating with Programme Managers, Solution Architects and senior leaders. This role drives stakeholder alignment and enhances delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience leading a BA team or similar.
• Strong ability to gather and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Workshop facilitation and workshop design experience.
• Experience building business cases and investment papers.

A well-established organisation delivering critical services across the UK is looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join its technology change function.

This is a key leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of business strategy, technology delivery and stakeholder engagement. You'll play a pivotal role shaping major programmes of work before they enter delivery, ensuring technology investments align with business priorities and long-term strategic objectives.

Working alongside Programme Managers, Solution Architects and senior business leaders, you'll help define future change initiatives while leading a small team of Business Analysts.
