Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Band 7 Dietitian to lead complex nutrition support across acute and community settings, including critical care and spinal injuries care. The role includes scheduling a spinal injuries clinic at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and contributing to quality improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Degree or masters in Dietetics.
• HCPC registration.
• Masters or equivalent postgrad study relevant to role.
• Member of specialist BDA group relevant to role.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous practitioner providing complex nutrition support for inpatients and outpatients.
• Specialised assessment, treatment and support for patients in critical care, spinal injuries centre and intestinal failure.
• Lead on service development and quality improvement initiatives in this area.
• Line manage a Band 6 Dietitian and supervise junior staff and students.
• Collaborate across the Nutrition & Dietetic Department to optimise care.
